Purpose and Vision
The Korean Culture Festival is a one-day event designed to share Korean cultural heritage and artistic traditions as well as modern trends with the local people in Stockholm, Sweden. The first Korean Culture Festival was held in August 2016, organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sweden together with five Swedish non-profit associations.
The festival will be a culture-filled extravaganza celebrating both traditional and contemporary Korean culture. Featuring K-pop and dance, Korean merchandise, arts and crafts, Korean cuisine - and plenty more! - there will be something here for everyone to enjoy.
Regardless of your prior knowledge of Korea, this will be a unique opportunity to discover new aspects of Korean culture.

The Korean Culture Festival is proudly brought to you by the Korean Cultural Center in Stockholm (Koreanskt Kulturcenter). Koreanskt Kulturcenter opened its doors in 2023, making it the first of its kind in the Nordics.
History
The first Korean Culture Festival in Sweden was held in August 2016, organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sweden together with five Swedish non-profit associations. A huge success, the festival became a highly popular annual event, with the amount of festival-goers steadily reaching into the tens of thousands.
